Bottega Cellar Regional Tasting Program
Join us on the 3rd Wednesday of the month in our Private Dining Room, for a Tutored Tasting of wines from the great, the unusual and the interesting Appellations from around the World. Cellar Manager, Jon Osbeiston & Group Sommelier Grant Van Every will host the tastings and lead the discussion. A main course will be served to finish the evening after every Tasting.

May – Wednesday 15th: SOUTH AMERICA – MALBEC, CARMENERE & TANNAT
For the May Tasting we head to South America to look at the wine varieties that have a unique place in the wine culture of the respective countries. We will look at the three leading wine countries and the varieties that are their signatures. Argentina for Malbec, Chile for Carmenere & Uruguay for Tannat. We will taste a Bracket of 4 wines from each country and then a Main Coarse Dinner will be served.

June – Wednesday 19th: BORDEAUX – A REGIONAL TOUR
Join us for a Tour through the great Communes of Bordeaux. We taste our way down the Left Bank from the Haut Medoc down through St Estephe, Pauillac, St Julien & Margaux sampling Classified Growths from each Commune. Then we head to Leognan Pessac & Graves and then across the River to the Right Bank wines of St Emilion & Pomerol.
Now often overlooked Bordeaux produces many outstanding Cabernet blends & Merlot blends still at prices often under our leading Australian producers. Taste a range of outstanding wines that will showcase what makes Bordeaux such a great region for quality wines.
